Deregulated energy user: act NOW!

Most companies and institutions will have registered a volume of energy consumed less than contracted this month, due to the effects of the pandemic.

The sale price of the surplus, in R$/MWh, considering the average value published by the CCEE (Brazilian power clearinghouse), by electro-geographic region for this month of March: SE 82, S 150,NE 67 and  N 43.

Example of a company located in the State of São Paulo (SE area), which presents the following situation for this month of March 2020:

A. Energy surplus with respect to the contracted volume: 500 MWh
B. Contracted price R$ 232/MWh
C. Sales price of the surplus R$ 82/MWh
D. Unit loss of surplus (B-C) R$ 150/MWh
E. Total cost of surplus (D x A) R$ 75,000

1 USD = R$ 5

MY SUGGESTION is opening a negotiation with your power trader to reduce the loss that will be incurred. If you would like to explore this line of conduct, I have developed a "package" to help, which includes:

1. Conversation (virtual)

    * Align information regarding your specific case
     * Suggest negotiation strategies with your power trader

2. Message to be sent to your power trader presenting your proposal
ATTENTION: as the spot power price is falling, for the next month (of April 2020) the situation will be even more acute.

Send an e-mail to informing your preferred dates and times for a conf call and I will return promptly to proceed accordingly.
