Brazil and the climate
The wear and tear of Brazil with the international community has a lot to do with the devastation in the Amazon and the Pantanal.
From what I have been following for decades, Brazil is systematically "going down the slope". There is one aspect in common in this story: the presidents always speak in the sense of what the "audience" wants to hear, implying that we are on the right track!
It is nothing more than vain declarations of intent.
Objectively, we do not have an established strategy, who should be in charge of what and not to mention how to follow if we are reaching our goals.
We are demagogues. As long as we are satisfied with this state of affairs, we will remain as laggards.
