In order to both fill a supply gap and meet climate targets, New York will have to aggressively pursue electrification and energy efficiency solutions, whether they are included in National Grid’s downstate supply plans or not.

Re: proposals for new gas infrastructure in National Grid's NY territory.   The least cost option for New Yorkers is one that addresses capacity planning AND New York's climate targets, through efficiency, electrification, and demand flexibility.
