After what has been a very public distancing from nuclear power, France is now eyeing the benefits of nuclear power again. The government, last week, asked its state-controlled energy company to draw plans to build three new nuclear energy facilities. It's still in its infant stages, but the fact that the country is even using some resources to research nuclear power again is significant.
