Vattenfall has contracted Fugro to carry out a geoscience survey for a proposed hydrogen pipeline route between the Aberdeen Offshore Wind Farm and Aberdeen Port.

 

The European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre (EOWDC), operational since 2018, is Scotland’s largest offshore wind test and demonstration facility. It comprises eleven Vestas 8.8 MW wind turbines installed on suction bucket foundations just off the coast of Aberdeen.
