Swedish floating wind pioneer SeaTwirl gets go-ahead to take plunge off Norway

Innovative vertical-axis concept with built-in energy storage moves ahead to install 1MW prototype north of Stavanger at site in Boknafjorden on country's west

The SeaTwirl is a distinctive vertical axis floating wind power design that – below the water line – has the added feature of a self-power energy storage system that charges as the turbine above rotates and then can continue flowing electricity to shore even when winds drop.  Join Floating Wind and Hydrogen
