I want to thank Matt Chester for encouraging us to post this article on Wireless EV Charging in Energy Central; with over a decade of experience supporting smart grid, smart cities, automotive and smart home, we have interesting insights that we suspect complement many other members in this forum. This particular article explores wireless charging of EVs, and with what that type of access to battery storage can mean for bi-directional energy flows as an energy storage system for home (V2H) and grid (V2G). Our consultancy includes a council member who is a veteran in smart grid and energy storage, having led efforts for Sempra Energy. We look forward to getting more acquainted with this forum.
