On the latest edition of Redefining Energy myself and Laurent Segalen talk with an old friend of mine Andy Klump about the Future of #solarenergy and #batteries !

It was great to have Andy on the show whose team at Clean Energy Associates (CEA) are a leading solar and battery storage quality assurance, supply chain management and engineering services firm with deep insights into the Chinese market!

Frustrating to see the geopolitical aspects coming into play, but hopefully it won't be too much of a roadblock towards swift integration of solar & storage wherever it makes sense. Someone is going to win out and make a lot of money, but collectively we need to root for the success of these technologies one way or another

Gerald, it's a great competition. I see the US designed Sunpower solar cells with the connectors on the back as the worlds best solar. They also concentrate it in their C7 design for even better results.

In batteries Tesla with partner panasonic seem to have the best cells with the 4680 just coming on line. Solid state maybe next and Toyota says they have that ready.
