The perception that climate change is a partisan issue is an opinion that exists primarily within the political bubble of Washington, DC. Recent polling by the Pew Research Center shows clear majorities of Americans agreeing that climate change is a threat and that the federal government needs to do more to mitigate its effects. Polling also shows sky-high support for investments in solar and other renewables, regardless of political party affiliation.
