NHS England to trial hydrogen-powered ambulances

An ambulance developed by UK-based ULEMCo will be the vehicle in focus here. Equipped with a hydrogen fuel cell in the powertrain, the ambulances boast an up to 300-mile range and quick refuelling times.
Currently, the ambulance is on show at COP26, but once the summit draws to an end, the vehicle will be trialled in London by the London Ambulance Service who will be able to gain access to public hydrogen stations in the capital.
