Rolls Royce is leading a consortium to develop Small Nuclear Reactors.  Rolls Royce has a long history in both the civilian and Royal Navy nuclear power programs.  The United Kingdom seems to have the same problem as the US - the inability to build large scale nuclear reactors on time and on budget.  Their program called for the first unit to be online in 2030, about five year after NuScale's current schedule for their first unit.
