Lhyfe has announced a collaboration with Atmen to enhance carbon footprint traceability and transparency within the hydrogen and Power-to-X (PtX) sectors by implementing comprehensive tracking and verification measures for every stage of hydrogen product
Each delivery of Lhyfeâs green and renewable hydrogen can now include a Digital Product Passport, providing buyers with detailed information about the hydrogenâs origin, carbon footprint, and soon, the âRFNBO-compliantâ label. This integration ensures full traceability of hydrogen production, from renewable energy sourcing to final delivery, meeting and exceeding current European regulatory requirements.
The collaboration will initially be implemented at Lhyfeâs production unit in Bouin (VendĂ©e, France) and will later expand to other Lhyfe sites. The company has also initiated steps to obtain RFNBO certification for hydrogen produced at its various sites. Once achieved, the Digital Product Passports will include the âRFNBO-compliantâ label, confirming compliance with the European Unionâs stringent sustainability criteria.
