Created by our Thorium Student Guild, the next interview in the series, "Leading to Nuclear'', is with Dr. Resat Uzmen of Figes, Turkey. Dr. Uzmen has a career spanning more than 50 years, and presently is the director of nuclear engineering at leading computational analysis company, Figes of Turkey. Figes is heavily engaged in the design of Molten Salt Fission Energy using Thorium - something the entire country of Turkey is actively pursuing. Figes was also a key contributor to the European SAMOFAR molten salt project. Dr. Uzmen has an enlightening viewpoint from more than half a century of witnessing what the world has been doing with Fission Energy.

The Energy Central Power Industry Network is based on one core idea - power industry professionals helping each other and advancing the industry by sharing and learning from each other.

If you have an experience or insight to share or have learned something from a conference or seminar, your peers and colleagues on Energy Central want to hear about it. It's also easy to share a link to an article you've liked or an industry resource that you think would be helpful.
