About Florian Mayr:
Florian Mayr is a partner and the founder of the energy storage practice at Apricum – The Cleantech Advisory, a globally active transaction advisory and strategy consulting firm dedicated to the cleantech industry. Florian is an expert for strategy, business development and transaction advisory in the global cleantech markets. Florian leads Apricum’s energy storage practice and is particularly responsible for the company’s international activities in this field. He has written numerous articles on energy storage and e-mobility and is published regularly in leading industry media such as energy-storage.news and pv magazine. He is also a sought-after speaker at key renewable energy conferences in Europe. Prior to Apricum, Florian spent a decade in senior positions at McKinsey & Company and RWE, where he was mainly involved in strategy development projects both in the conventional and renewable energy sectors. Florian holds a master’s degree in engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, and a master’s in business administration from the Technical University of Berlin and the University of Mannheim.
