Hydrogen Supply Corridors
Just reviewing a ‘learnbook’ a rather patronisingly named publication emanating from the EU called the hydrogen and learn book one of a series of maps and informative illustrations coming out at the moment which aim to indicate how the nascent hydrogen economy may develop.
The learnbook highlights five supply corridors which are already out there and have been shared with the community but looking at some of the maps there seems to be a stark division between the EU and the UK.
1. South Central H₂ corridor
2. Iberian H₂ corridor
3. North Sea H₂ corridor
4. Nordic Baltic H₂ corridor
5. Eastern H₂ corridor
6. South-eastern H₂ corridor
Brexit notwithstanding, I thought I might put the community's mind at ease to show that things are not static on this side, and one aspect is the work around Bacton which harmonises with the North Sea corridor and wider European dimension.
I'll be sharing these in the public and we'll be engaging with the public it might even form one of the regular updates planned in which I got a bit more detail and explain to the community some of the tectonics which might not be obvious to those not immersed in such a fast moving sector.
I'm collating the top ten requests from the community with a view to addressing them in the hydrogen essentials series. Hydrogen and Methanol won last week's poll with Hydrogen Storage to follow. Stay tuned.
