Hydrogen: Battle Royal (recorded live Eurelectric - Game Changers in Brussels on June 15, 2022)

Six months ago, Eurelectric has invited Gerard Reid and Laurent Segalen to record a live episode of their award winning Redefining Energy podcast with Jorgo Chatzimarkakis, a German politician of Greek descent and currently CEO of the powerful professional body Hydrogen Europe.
Hydrogen Europe has one of the biggest lobbying budgets in the European Energy Sector and is consistently pushing the EU and European Governments to embrace wide-ranging pro-Hydrogen policies. Gerard and Laurent disagree with that thesis, convinced that H2 is neither cheap nor green and should be dedicated to certain specific sectors such as chemicals, steel, and refining… and certainly not transports nor heating.
The three debated on the 15th June 2022, at Eurelectric’s Power Summit in Brussels… and the exchanges have been described as “highly entertaining”, “most exciting”, and “lively”.
Enjoy the show.
