Companies with annual revenues of $300 million or more that apply for loans from the Canadian government must “commit to publish annual climate-related disclosure reports… including how their future operations will support environmental sustainability and national climate goals,”

oh wow I love this-- it's starting slow, it's not mandating a certain percentage of emissions decreases or prescriptive upgrades, but it's putting them on notice that the economy must be rebuilt in a sustainable manner. I hope this catches on elsewhere too
