EU leaders place emphasis on green hydrogen
Green hydrogen favoured by Europe. The Council also asked the European Commission to further elaborate and operationalise the EU Hydrogen Strategy, and in particular invited the Commission to outline a pathway towards the roadmap’s objectives of installing at least 6GW of renewable hydrogen electrolysers in the EU by 2024 and 40GW by 2030.
