This episode of the Energy Central Power Perspectives™ Podcast was initially shared to The Energy Collective because of its focus on climate change and how to align energy leadership to tackle the problem, but because the conversation also dips into the cleantech possibilities of fuel cells, I wanted to also share it here with the Clean Power community.
Welcome to the first episode for 2020 of the Energy Central podcast series: “Energy Central Power Perspectives™ Podcast.” After ending 2019 strong with episodes featuring nuclear power talk with Dan Yurman and discussions of energy leadership with Lincoln Bleveans, we're kicking off the new year with the energy industry topic that will definitely dominate the coming decade: aligning leaders in the utility industry to combat climate change. Particularly, we're using this podcast as an opportunity to follow up on the great conversation that was started last Fall by Rami Reshef, CEO of GenCell Energy.
While working hard on a clean tech solution in the fuel cell space, Rami's post and his follow-up summary of the discussion that took place showed an understanding that tackling such an immense and global issue requires attacking from all angles, including international agreement and political action. Because he so eagerly started this discussion in the Energy Central community, we knew keeping the dialogue going via the Energy Central Power Perspectives™ Podcast was a must.
