The development, demonstration, deployment, and diffusion activities of 4 integrated robots and platforms have continued since 2010s.

Their development philosophy is free and open source. So transparent.

Their current titles are

Global Power Prediction Systems
Global Power Plant Developers
Global Power Plant Engineers
Global Power Plant Owners

One of the new publications was accepted and published in a scientific journal, Energy Sources, Part A: Recovery, Utilization, and Environmental Effects.

Yongsong Li & Burak Omer Saracoglu (2021) Location and investment factors of hydropower plants, Energy Sources, Part A: Recovery, Utilization, and Environmental Effects, DOI: 10.1080/15567036.2021.1963015

The paper presents features or factors that can be used for location selection and investment selection of hydropower plants. They are organized in different clusters.

The location selection features can be presented as geographic information systems (GIS) layers and used for real-time location alternatives selection and presentation on an online website or GIS tools like QGIS (https://qgis.org/en/site/).

A few examples of the location selection features are climate, power grid, and land cover and use.

The investment selection features can help to select the best alternative designs in defined locations.

A few examples of the investment selection features are cost (business start-up costs, project pre-development costs, project development costs, project construction costs, power plant operation costs, power plant demolishing and recycling costs), and financial performance (inflation rate, exchange rate, real discount rate, Minimum Attractive Rate of Return, Weighted Average Cost of Equity, Profit Before Interest and Taxes, Earnings Per Share, Profitability Index (PI), Project Life Coverage Ratio (PLCR), Return on Capital (ROC), Return on Debt (ROD), Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Invested Capital (ROIC), Return on Investment (ROI), Rate of Return (RoR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR)).

All findings, location selection features and investment selection features, can be used for all types of hydropower plant investments including pumped storage hydropower plants.

Any interested researchers, engineers, managers, executive managers, investors, and similar can start to use them.

New studies have been going on.
