Deutsche Bahn to replace diesel trains with hydrogen alternatives

Deutsche Bahn will have hydrogen-powered trains to replace its fleet of 1,3000 diesel locomotives by 2050.

That’s the goal unveiled last year (2020) under the H2goesRail project which looks to pioneer clean transportation.

Today (Jan 6), however, an update on this landmark project was announced, with Green Hydrogen Systems confirming that it will supply electrolysis equipment for H2goesRail.
