Geothermal energy and heat is now included in a Contracts for Difference scheme - which is seen as a "demand pull" or market-shaping intervention. It would seem to represent progress.

When looking at schemes around the world I learned today that Canada may be building a CfD scheme for CCUS. Germany already has a CfD scheme for H2.

Would love to hear from geothermal, CCUS and H2 groups their experience with the CfD process - are demand pull or market shaping interventions the way forward?
