Ugh, there's no way this is anything but bad news for First Energy Corp. Of course, if the allegation are untrue, the utility should fight them, but if they are accurate, the best bet in time of scandal is always to come clean as soon as possible, take the blame, then take steps to rectify the situation and/or prevent it from happening again. And it will take years of positive actions to wash away the stain.
