When I am hired to consult for a company or institution, the first request I make is "show me your strategic energy plan".
Most of the time, regardless of the "energy" size of the client, the answer points to the denial of the existence of this plan.
And here comes my recommendation. Start by creating a strategic plan. To align perceptions and motivations of the C level and serve as a reference for managers and technicians to develop plans to make it operational.
This conduct is simple and has the potential to produce great results as it brings together the experiences of the client and the consultant in a synergistic environment.
It will be worth - surely - to try this approach. In addition to being proven effective - in my experience at least - it opens the door to a structured path that represents, in practice, a great leap in relation to the improvisations that are so common in Brazil.
