Hi All

I wrote 'The Smart Customer' 8 years ago and I keep finding articles echoing what I said.  Goes through the need for Retail side Particpation to enable better operation of the electricity systems while accommodating more variable  renewable plant.   But the premises mechanisms need to be automatic and we need to progress in stages, among other things.

The current version is linked on my Webspace as Future Power Systems FPS 21

FPS 20 coveres the issues with the overall 'Smart Enterprise'; the Big+Little picture.

And the Strategy document, also linked, tries to come up with a combined Future Energy approach.  With some 'Brutal Pragmatism' working from where we are now!!   Low Carbon Gas + Distributed Hybrid Generation - extened CHP+C units with Clutch, Flywheel and Heat Pump.
