The news media is thoroughly documenting how the coronavirus pandemic has impacted businesses, but it probably hasn't taken a close look at utilities. While utilities aren't as severely impacted as many businesses, there has been some impact, as this column documents for a few Colorado utilities. Perhaps it's worth pitching your local media outlets to see if you can your story told. Of course, you shouldn't adopt a "woe is me" kind of attitude when so many other businesses have it worse, but journalists looking for a fresh angle might be interested in how seemingly unaffected businesses are impacted.
